THE VOLTAGE ARE READ BETWEEN THE SOCKET TERMINAL AND GROUND UNFER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED

Note A - The shell (no, 1 Terminal) of the 2nd r-f tube is not at ground potential but connected to the cathode. For that reason the flexible lead from the octal Socket Adaptor is not Inserted Into ground pin jack but is inserted into the Adaptor No. 3 outer pin jack.
Note B - 55 volts read at socket terminal 45 volts read with adaptor plug - see last paragraph of 34b(1).
